I’m a long time collector and these are the nicest, best looking, protectors I’ve ever purchased.
Purchased a 2-pack of Legendary protectors for my kids -- intended to hold off until Easter, but gave them to them early, and they really like them, so no complaints from me. I see other reviews commenting on price relative to other protectors. I can't personally speak to that aspect, as I'm not a collector myself so am not sure what would be considered "normal" for a product such as this. Will ask my kids their thoughts on that and maybe come back and edit this review if I am able.
Was excited to receive my first order of Vaulted's Legendary hard protectors. They are fantastic. And you can tell they are more transparent/clear than any others that I am aware of or have in my collection. The one downside is price. Understand this is a premium product and is priced accordingly. Certainly would not expect these to be cheaper than Armors given they are CLEARLY superior, though the price is about double. If VV can find a way to bring down manufacturing costs (or even cut out some of the extras, such as the satin bag or the extremely nice packaging) in order to bring down cost, I think they would expand their market and receive a lot more business from folks that currently purchase only Armors. Even more so given the current macroeconomic environment. I think people will naturally trend towards cheaper items with inflation expected to continue its upward trajectory, and, when people are looking to save a little bit of money, seems like "saving" about 50% on a purchase such as this would be top of mind.
Great product. While, in my view, it is more difficult to see the difference in clarity between the Vaulted Vinyl Legendary protectors and PopShield armors in photos, the difference is much more apparent in person. My one complaint would be the price -- $30+ for a single protector, despite being the best on the market, is a lot, particularly considering Armors are ~$15-17, and drop to around ~$11-12 when purchased in bulk. I think that even getting the price down by ~$5 would substantially increase market share, but if able to get cost down to ~$20 total, I think the vast majority of collectors would transition away from Armors and over to the Legendaries. E.g., the packaging is top-notch, and the satin/dust bag is a nice touch, but those are things that, in my view, could be done away with to trim down on cost a bit.
For me, I think these will be limited to my handful of most precious grails, as it is tough to justify the price, particularly considering PopShield has started to cure some of the faults with its earlier Armors -- e.g., they are now also UV resistant, better quality control (I have not received an Armor with the "rainbow" effect in years), etc.
But, to be clear, the Legendaries are top notch.
